Blog posting - OWF

 For the one-word film project, we had to create a sixty- to ninety-second film representing a word. We had to use different camera angles and techniques to properly convey the story for the word. 

During brainstorming, we wrote down synonyms of cruel, such as brutal, savage, or inhuman. We also used the example presented in class as an idea. Even though they presented a montage, taking one idea and expanding on it fit the assignment's prompt better. The storyboard helped visualize where we were going to film, the props needed to execute the project, and the facial expressions needed. 

We utilized Adobe Express for editing because neither my partner nor I had ever edited before. The shots were done well, the positioning and sequence all made sense; however, I'd like to improve the overall variety and diversity of the shots as a whole. I felt as though our shots were too repetitive.
